Ingelas Islands is the co-creation of artist Kate and designer Steve. An amalgam of installation and interior design, Ingelas Islands fuses exquisite artistry with technical craftsmanship to create innovative, functional art. Originally meeting at Kate's gallery in the Hebrides, the duo have combined their respective talents - as well as their shared interest in Japan - to produce unique installations inspired by both the wild, rugged beauty of the West Coast and the elegant intricacy of the Orient. Ingelas Islands vision is an odyssey, exploring the symbiosis of art and functional design, East and West, delicacy and boldness.
